  1. Activity Target:
This workshop aims to enhance the teaching quality of undergraduate basic pharmacology courses and assist faculty members in providing practical skills and knowledge in teaching "Undergraduate Basic Pharmacology" courses at our institution. With the ongoing development of education globalization, educators need to adjust their teaching methods to accommodate different student groups, including non-native English speakers. By focusing on the integration of English language teaching with the fundamental principles of pharmacology, this workshop aims to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of medical education in an English-speaking environment. The workshop will be facilitated by experienced educators who will lead a series of interactive sessions, discussions, and practical activities. Participants will delve into various teaching methods, strategies, and resources specifically designed for teaching "Undergraduate Basic Pharmacology" in an EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) environment.

(1)EMI Teaching Principles: Understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of teaching medical subjects in English.
(2)Language Support Strategies: Providing techniques for comprehension and communication for non-native English-speaking students.

(4)Technology Integration: Exploring digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance EMI teaching and student engagement.
(5)Assessment and Feedback: Effective methods for assessing student learning outcomes and providing constructive feedback in an EMI environment.
(6)Best Practices and Case Studies: Sharing experiences and success stories from EMI practitioners in the field of pharmacology education.
