The main goal of this workshop is to support teachers willing to teach in English by providing English teaching consultation services, including opportunities for non-native English speakers to practice English and online practice courses. The workshop aims to enhance the confidence, language fluency, and overall communication skills of teachers who intend to offer EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses. Through individual or small group consultation and practice training, participating teachers will acquire teaching language skills and facilitation of two-way discussions, enabling them to effectively conduct EMI courses and thus improve the quality of English teaching in the pharmaceutical field at our institution.
(1)Hire teachers for face-to-face sessions to conduct speaking training and course consultations.
(2)Employ teachers for online consultation sessions to conduct speaking training and course consultations.
(3)Workshop instructors may be foreign English teachers, local English teachers, EMI training seed teachers, or EMI course teachers.
(4)All faculty members of the College of Pharmacy schedule courses by appointment.
(5)The format of the session must be agreed upon by both the consultant and the consultee.
(6)Consultation services can be reserved repeatedly, but the same individual cannot schedule multiple consultation sessions on the same day.
(7)Multiple consultation sessions can be arranged on the same day for English language teachers providing consultations.
(8)Participants will be provided with meals if the consultation falls within these two time slots (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM).

One-on-one, providing consultation services tailored to EMI course needs. Physical meeting: every Monday, 14:00 – 17:00 (N531 or N532).
